Ballpark Beats is a web application that helps amateur baseball and softball teams manage and play walk-up music during games. The service allows team managers to:

• Create and manage team rosters and batting lineups
• Assign walk-up songs to players
• Play music through connected Apple Music accounts
• Generate AI announcer introductions for players
• Collaborate with other coaches and parents

Account Requirements

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You may not share your account credentials with others

Music Service Requirements

To play music through Ballpark Beats, you must have an active Apple Music subscription.

Ballpark Beats is not affiliated with Apple. Your use of Apple Music is subject to their terms of service and licensing agreements.

Music Licensing & Public Performance

Ballpark Beats provides tools to control music playback through your personal streaming subscription. You are solely responsible for:

• Complying with your music service's terms of service (Apple Music)
• Obtaining any necessary public performance licenses (such as ASCAP, BMI, or SESAC) that may be required for playing music at your venue or event
• Ensuring your use of music complies with all applicable copyright and licensing laws

Ballpark Beats does not provide music content, does not grant any music licenses, and assumes no responsibility for your compliance with music licensing requirements. We are a playback control tool only.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Upload or transmit malicious code or content
• Use the service to infringe on intellectual property rights
• Resell or redistribute the service without authorization

Content & Player Information

As a team manager, you are responsible for the information you enter into Ballpark Beats, including player names and other team data. You represent that:

• You have the authority to manage the team's information
• You have appropriate consent to use player names and information
• The information you provide is accurate and appropriate

Subscription & Payments

Free Tier

The free tier includes limited functionality (1 team, 1 lineup, up to 9 players) and may be used indefinitely.

Season Pass (Annual Subscription)

• Season Pass subscriptions unlock unlimited teams, lineups, and players
• Annual subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Refunds are provided in accordance with applicable law

Season Pass (One-Time Annual Purchase)

• The one-time annual Season Pass unlocks unlimited teams, lineups, and players for one year
• This is a single purchase that does not auto-renew; you must repurchase to continue access after the year ends
• Refunds are provided in accordance with applicable law and app store policies

AI-Generated Content

The AI announcer feature uses artificial intelligence to generate voice announcements. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated voices are synthetic and not recordings of real individuals
• Generated content is for personal, non-commercial use within the app
• We may limit or modify this feature at our discretion

Disclaimer of AI Accuracy

AI-generated announcements may contain errors, including but not limited to mispronunciations of player names, incorrect emphasis, or other audio artifacts. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing generated announcements before use. We are not liable for any embarrassment, offense, or other consequences resulting from AI pronunciation errors or other inaccuracies.

Intellectual Property

Ballpark Beats and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Music content is provided through and owned by Apple Music and its licensors.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MUSIC SERVICE OUTAGES, PLAYBACK ISSUES, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICE AVAILABILITY.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
